"The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it."
Genesis two : Fifteen
Tulip is a flower designed to bring joy to those who gaze upon it.
Upon sketching up the dream that is TULIP, I made a commitment to be 100% uncompromising with the design that I imagined, regardless of how much reiterations it would take. I planned for it to take a month, little did I know the cost of that decision would add 9 months to the journey.
Over and over I remade the Tulip, trialing countless methods to shrink the mechanism to be invisible & to attain the particular shape of the curves, while still being beyond easy to print. Several months later, Tulip became my first artwork where the final result is identical to what I dreamed upon.
A shape… of Mike.
Tulip comes with two different petal shapes: Champagne & Bubble, an assortment of sized stems & two ripple leafs.
There is also with a removable inner plate that can be embossed with a personalised design for gifting to others.
